Placemaking as an Economic Development Tool
Michigan was hit hard by the Great Recession where its industrial past, aging infrastructure, and reliance on manufacturing limited the state’s economic recovery. This webinar will discuss the Michigan State Extension “Michigan Placemaking Curriculum” -- a comprehensive training of educational material and hands-on exercises that has trained hundreds of community development professionals to assist Michigan communities in addressing economic development through place-making. Speaker: Brad Neumann; Moderator: Peter Wulfhorst.
Our FREE Lunch & Learn Events are presented as webinars by the Penn State Extension Service and offer 1.25 AICP CM Credits.
