Public recreational facilities and programs provide opportunities for all ages to be physically active and are typically more affordable than private recreational facilities. However, tight budgets have resulted in the closing of recreational facilities or reducing hours at these facilities. This webinar will highlight two communities that have partnered with private, non-profit organizations to meet the demand for recreational facilities and programs for their community. Presented by Penn State Extension Service. Speakers: Charity Field, Pamela Salokangas; Moderator: Peter Wulfhorst.
