ESTUDIO DE TRANSPORTE DEL ÁREA DE HARRISBURG

TCRPC sirve como la agencia líder de personal para el Estudio de Transporte del Área de Harrisburg.
HATS se creó como resultado de la Ley de Carreteras de Ayuda Federal de 1962, que exigía la planificación regional como condición para recibir fondos federales para proyectos de transporte. Hasta el día de hoy, la planificación debe estar respaldada por un proceso continuo, integral y coordinado (3C).
HATS es una Organización de Planificación Metropolitana (MPO) designada, una organización de agencias federales, estatales y locales, así como funcionarios de los condados de Cumberland, Dauphin y Perry, la ciudad de Harrisburg y Capital Area Transit, todos los cuales son responsables del 3C proceso.
As part of the Community Charging Program, HATS is distributing a short survey to gather input from the public and stakeholders on where electric vehicle charging stations would be most beneficial. The input gathered from the survey will inform the prioritization of communities and "use cases" (shopping centers, event venues, downtown areas, etc.), which will be presented to HATS in 2026.
