Report a Transportation Problem

Please feel free to bring a specific problem to our attention by completing and submitting the HATS Transportation Problem Description Form below.

We also encourage you to make your municipality aware of the issue. HATS staff works with the region's municipalities to address their transportation problems using the region's allotment of federal funding. The description form is the first step in the process.

You may also download a PDF version of the form -- with information about the 2040 Regional Transportation Plan -- and submit it via email to Planner Casey Baxendale or send a hard copy to Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, HATS Project Development, 112 Market St., 2nd Fl., Harrisburg PA, 17101.

For information on project development, see bottom of page.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

Project development is the process by which HATS staff works with the region’s municipalities to address their transportation problems using the region’s allotment of federal funding.

Once a problem form is received, HATS staff discusses the problem with both the sponsor and the municipality to gather additional information and determine possible funding options. The municipality's presence is essential in these discussions since most federal funding sources require a local match.
