PennDOT and the Harrisburg Area Transportation Study (HATS) will hold a meeting on Tue., Nov. 14 to familiarize municipal officials with how the new PennDOT Connects program can address local transportation issues.
The meeting will take place at the Swatara Township Municipal Building, 599 Eisenhower Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
Registration begins at 8 a.m.
The morning session will detail the PennDOT Connects program and how transportation projects go from planning to construction. The afternoon session is primarily for municipalities with projects on the current Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and will give attendees the opportunity to discuss local issues and concerns.
Officials are invited to stay for both sessions.
