Southeastern PA Transit Providers:

Red Rose Transit Authority's fixed-route bus system provides 17 different bus routes throughout Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Areas served include: Lancaster City, Elizabethtown, Mount Joy, Landisville, Marietta, Columbia, Mountville, Millersville, Willow Street, Rockvale Square, Paradise, Kinzers, Bird in Hand, Intercourse, Whitehorse, Cains, Edin, Leola, New Holland, Akron, Ephrata, Neffsville, Lititz, East Petersburg, and Manheim.  Since 1976, RRTA has provided fixed-route bus service to help our customer's transportation needs. The Red Rose Transit Authority operates a shared-ride (paratransit) program for senior citizens and persons with disabilities in Lancaster County. This door-to-door transportation service, known as Red Rose Access, is available to those who are unable to use RRTA's fixed-route bus system.

Connections to Harrisburg:

  • There are currently no direct connections between RRTA and CAT. 

  • Capitol Trailways Route 7146 stops in Lancaster via York.

  • Amtrak’s Keystone and Pennsylvanian lines stop at the Lancaster, Elizabethtown, and Mt. Joy Train Stations in Lancaster County.

  • Access to many RRTA Routes is available from the Lancaster Train Station.

  • The Elizabethtown and Mount Joy Train Amtrak Stations have connections to RRTA’s Route 18.

  • RRTA has direct connections with COLT in Park City and Rabbit Transit in Columbia.
