Southeastern PA Transit Providers:
|
CATA provides bus service to State College and the Centre County Area
with Weekday and limited Saturday service. The Centre Line is a
fixed-route regional bus system providing service between Downtown State
College, the Penn State Campus, the borough of Bellefonte, the village
of Pleasant Gap, suburban shopping centers, apartment complexes,
residential areas, governmental offices, and many special points of
interest. The LOOP and the LINK provide no-fare service around the Penn
State Campus and Downtown State College.
CATA Services:

CENTRE LINE -
Centre Line is a fixed-route
regional bus system providing service between Downtown State
College, the Penn State Campus, the borough of Bellefonte, the
village of Pleasant Gap, suburban shopping centers, apartment
complexes, residential areas, governmental offices, and many special
points of interest.

LOOP & LINK -
The LOOP
and LINK service provide fare-free campus/downtown circulator and
cross-campus shuttle service. The service consists of four
integrated routes.

RIDESHARE -
RideShare is a free ride-matching program helping commuters to
find easy and economical ways to get to and from work via car
and vanpools. The program is designed to bring together people
traveling from or through the same communities to work.

PARK & RIDE
- PARK
& RIDE is a program providing inexpensive perimeter parking for
Downtown State College business employees. The service results
from a partnership between the Borough of State College, CATA,
and Penn State. For $15 a month, participants get a parking
permit for the Jordan Center East Parking Lot where the BLUE and
WHITE LOOPs provide free user access to Downtown State College.

CENTRE RIDE
-
CENTRE RIDE provides curb-to-curb transportation for senior
citizens and people whose disabilities prevent their use of
CENTRE LINE buses.

SPECIAL SERVICES
-
CATA’s Special Services include event shuttles that operate to
provide transportation to various events that take place
throughout the local area.

Currently there are no direct connections between CAT and
CATA.
