Route 8 Derry / Rutherford provides service along Derry Street to Downtown Harrisburg.  All runs provide service between Paxtang & Derry to Market Square.  Run destinations vary beyond Paxtang with some servicing Wal-Mart and occasionally beyond to Sue Drive.  Other runs serve Rutherford Square.  There is one morning and one afternoon route that serve the Empire Medical Center and another that serves Verdelli Farms.

This chart shows the number of runs available on this route each hour on non-holiday weekdays and Saturdays (if route provides Saturday service - note CAT provides no Sunday Service).  The hourly figures are broken down by the number of runs traveling to downtown Harrisburg (inbound) and from downtown Harrisburg (outbound).
