Derry Township Transportation Center, Phase II Construction

The Derry Township Intermodal Transportation Center will be an integrated transportation center serving the Hershey region. The station is located near the corner of West Chocolate and Cocoa Avenues.   The Transit Station portion of the center is expected to be completed in 2007.

  • The first phase of the project is a multi-modal parking structure which has been completed.
  • Phase II (in progress) provides a walking bridge over the rail lines to connect up to a bus transfer center. The transfer center will provide connections to CAT, Capitol Trailways, and County of Lebanon Transit (COLT) buses. Other bus lines may also provide service at the station.
  • If plans for CORRIDORtwo are eventually implemented, plans exist for a train station near the site that would connect to the parking garage and bus transfer station.
