Introduction

For many people who do not like plan travel and/or do not want to deal with long trips driving their own vehicles, public transportation provides an alternative.  While the trips may be longer in actual riding hours than by automobile, fares are often compatible with gasoline prices, hotel costs are eliminated, and while not as comfortable as a bed, the seats are often much more comfortable than most car or airplane seats.
